Haiku Asian Bistro - White Plains Reviews
I have lunch there every Thursday. I highly recommend the lunch menu options. I like the shredded beef.
Always a reliably great experience from service to venue to cuisine! We love in person dining and takeout. It's a little loud but not so bad that you cannot hear one another.
Yesterday I tried a new place for me in the wonderful company of my friends. They had been here several times and highly praised the cuisine of this place. Haiku Asian Bistro in White Plains is renowned for its elegant ambiance and diverse Asian cuisine. It offers a fusion of Japanese, Chinese, and Thai dishes, prepared with meticulous attention to flavors and presentation. The restaurant's interior combines modern design elements with traditional Asian accents, creating a serene dining atmosphere. The waiters were nice and polite. I ordered Spicy kani salad and grilled teriyaki salmon with Broccoli, Yesterday I wanted to combine sweet and spicy, which was very tasty by the way.
Honestly quality of the fish is surprisingly VERY good! I always have low expectations for fish, so I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh it was. Chirashi bowl was very big and worth $30 with a big bowl of miso soup. Waiters were a little interesting though -- I personally don't like when they try to clear plates when they're not empty or during a conversation... they kept doing both so I was a little annoyed (this is a personal thing though)
My brother & sister took me here last night. Was simply perfection. Manager Michael remembered us from some eight years ago, and our waiter Tom was completely on point. When we arrived, place was pretty empty. By the time we ordered our dinner, place was jammed full. As for the food, we had the Fluke appetizer, sort is a Tatake presentation with Ouzu and a pepper dot. The sushi was professionally presented. Perfect amount of rice, perfectly cooked. Slices of sushi were little morsels of joy! Blue Fin Otoro, Yellowtail Toro, Mackerel, Ama Ebi, Sea Bass, Red Snapper. Everything perfect. It's obvious why this place has been here for over 15 years. We'll be back!
